The Medicine Ball
THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT TEATRO ZINZANNI!
Monday, October 22
7pm
A medicine ball is a small punching bag that boxers use while training. Likewise, our Medicine Ball is like an exercise for writers where we bring people working in two different forms together, give them a theme and a week to write something, and come together at the Row House Cafe to hear their work by an ensemble of actors.
Now here is the twist. Poets and Playwrights will be paired off, and each piece will be presented in a series of rounds--Poet v.s. Playwright. After each round, the audience will vote anonymously on which of the pair they liked best, and the results are tallied at the end of the night. Join us for what is sure to be a spirited and fun evening!
